I have always been concerned with how science has been treated as something completly separate.
The history and literature clases during my childhood never made mention of science, as if it were a completly separete topic. This has always puzzled me, as it is almost impossible to understand history without undertandig the discoveries that helped shape it.
And the same goes for literature and philosophy, as the though of each generation is inexorably linked to the changes in their lifes and this in turn to science.
I believe that this together with the fact that science has been presented as something cold and detached, made it lose its rightfull place as a forma of culture, giving birth to a sort of dichotomy between science and everything else.
This blog is a cristalization of our endeavour to make science into a form of culture by showing that science is also interesting and fun. For this we will use metaphors, as they have been proven to help understand difficult concepts.
